Hi Cuties, I've been asked to put up something on here about one of our 'older' Cute members, who sadly passed away on Mother's Day.
Her son Brian put this up on FB today. Meg knew her better than I did, so when Meg is ready she will say something about her. We both feel devastated about how her life turned out. Please look after each other. Love Chris
"This is Brian Flanders, Linda Flanders son posting this message. She passed away on Mothers day after being in a nursing facility for 15 or 16 months, after we got her moved to Alabama so we could help with her medical care almost 2 years ago dementia hit her quickly to go along with other health problems. It has taken me a few weeks to get into her Facebook account to be able to share with her friends.

"To my dearest and most treasured friend, wherever you may be today, know that you are in my heart, my thoughts and my prayers, and I hope that you & your family enjoy the special bounty of God (& Santa 😊) on this most blessed Christmas day. Hugs n love me & Ray"
Her simple reply, quite unusual for Linda, just said: "Thanks Meganne" and she disappeared from my life.
I thought she was just having more computer problems or had lost her internet connection and I didn't have her new address in Alabama, or know any of her family to follow it up.
Now I know the rest of her story and it saddens me terribly, but this is what happens, so often, with our dear friends who live thousands of miles away, but are still loved so very much because they touch the deepest cords in our soul.
The precious friendship, the heartfelt caring, the trusted sharing of life stories and deepest feelings is a cherished bond we make with another person, though miles away, who we may never ever meet, but it doesn't end with death, for true friendship is eternal.
We will mourn, we will grieve but we will never forget.
Go with God my friend Linda, Bebe and Patty will be waiting for their Mama at the Rainbow Bridge, along with all the other four legged babies you rescued, and this time you too, will be able to run free with them. I will miss you now, even more, but I know you will finally be happy. God Bless
