Karen I don't need more inspiration need to keep completing some that ii have had on the go. I really want to see the girls there and see they are OK and catch up with them

Have fun visiting your fabric shop and getting new ideas. I too need a hair salon and appointments are being taken for when they reopen. I need to make a phone call to get booked in

I'm jealous. I got an email today that said my favorite place is closing for good. The sweet couple that own it are well past retirement and have been working at their "second career" for 17 years. I didn't get there too often because it is quite a ways from me and I just don't need too much, but I sure will miss it. I knew it was coming, but sure was hoping maybe one of the faithful staff would buy them out and keep it open. Need to get my machines in for service before they close!

That's great news Caroline. Our Spotlight hasn't shut so I've been fortunate. My two sewing machine shops have been open too for quite some time too. I hope you get to check on the ladies there and hope that you maybe spend a little for your economy!!! Love Chris

Hi Chris. While the shop doors have been shut it has been possible to get stuff from them. By chance i also discovered that the dealer I use for the machines was also working behind closed doors. I saw one of the ladies yesterdaya and see one of the others from time to time when on a walk. The third doesnt live in town and i know she has had the virus and not been well. any fabric shops in the UK have been very busy with mail order
