Throughout lockdown the market has been on every Wednesday selling food. Today was the first time that 'other' stalls were present. Right outside my front door the usual shoe stall wasn't there but there was a stall selling the most beautiful coloured 100% wools. I bought this roll, not exactly sure what I am about to do with it so I am open to ideas and suggestions. The colours were so vibrant that I just had to buy them, they have been dyed using dye from Chile if I have remembered correctly. The stall will be back next week. Flowers and thanks for looking

That is inspiring. Can't tell how big a piece you have to work with, but you'll have fun.

Oh, how beautiful! And right outside your doorstep! Lucky you! I'd be broke if I had such easy access to wool felt. Anyway, here's a few projects I did using wool felt.

Wool felt is also great for any item (ith toys, soft books, etc.) for a child since it can be washed, unlike craft felt that gets all "funky" when washed.

Thanks for the links that you have given of your Lovely projects with similar fabric. As the fabric shop re opens next Wednesday I will have to pass the stall to get there. Oh dear what a dilemma. No solved the stall sets up at half 8 and the fabric shop a hour later.

Oh dear, that is a predicament! A lot of our small shops, farmer's markets, and flea markets, etc aren't allowed to open yet. I envy you. Happy shopping!

I am obviously being really stupid. It looks like woolly felt to me. This must be something to do with living in Africa as I have never seen nothing like it before. I agree, the colours are outstanding l
