Made two potholders for our daughter Johanna. Don-t know what the pattern is called in english. in swedish it is called Hundtand (dogs tooth) and in spanish Pata de Gallo ( Cocks foot) I am from Sweden but live in Spain. A very easy pattern in crochet, fun doing. Photo one from wrong side and one from good side.

No. They are not dubble made. But it is enough as the pattern make them thick
