Gorgeous Lidia, just beautiful! The edging on the sides reminds me of tatting. I can’t imagine how long this took to make, but so worth every second. Do you have a professional embroidery machine?

I don't have a professional embroidery machine. I have used my old Husqvarna Topaz 30 machine bought in 2009. I bought this machine model because it's largest hoop measured 200 x 360mm (8" x 14"). Thank you for your comment, Toogie!

The lace is gorgeous itself but the doily and lace--well, Gorgeous as usual. I was going to capitalize Gorgeous but I didn't want anyone to think I was screaming at you--I believe that is the computer terminology. I am a doily girl, I don't care what my young girls in my family say. they wouldn't dare have a doily out.

When I was a young girl I didn't care much about doilies. When I bought my first sewing/embroidery machine (a top of the line Janome, 21 years ago) it was because I was sewing some of my clothes and wanted the machine to produce good button holes and the other machines I saw didn't do a good job. Sorry Penny, I was very tired when I answered to your pm. The fabric I have used is canvas. Not the cotton type as it's too thick. Hugs, Lidia
