Thank you all so very much. I had a beautiful day, made even more special by all the messages from my amazing friends, real and online.
I slept late, as usual these days, Ray brought me a cuppa in bed, then one of my dear friends arrived and we spent a lovely couple of hours catching up, though we live less than a mile apart, visiting has been restricted due to my compromised immune system.
Ray and I then made a mad, last minute, dash to the shops in a (futile), search of a bureau type cabinet, sadly there is little vintage type furniture to be had now as many stores have not reopened since the Covid lock downs.
Both my sons called and my sister, so three very lengthy phone calls ensued, then two very special little girlfriends, (neighbours), came in and surprised me with a Birthday cake, which was totally awesome.
Ray and I had pizzas for a quick dinner and I have spent the last few hours trying to respond to the many lovely messages I received, from more of my precious on friends, on FaceBook.
It has been a very heart warming day, topped off by my visit here and reading all the lovely wishes from my Cute sisters.
I can't tell you all how very much I appreciate you taking the time to enrich my day with such loving wishes. It has been a very tough few months, being in self isolation, as most of you will understand. The only thing that gets us all through this, is knowing we are all in it together, we aren't alone, and we are doing this rather than risk a loved one, or a friend's life.
I thank you all so very much, especially for reminding me that, I too, am not alone, as long as we have each other we can overcome and enjoy each beautiful day.
