I'm blaming the rain. We have begun receiving the outer bands of rains and storms from the Louisiana storm. When it pours here, I jump in my car and go shop Dollar General because "nobody" goes shopping in a drenching rain, so it's me and the two workers. So, I dashed through (in my mask) and shopped, paid and when I got home there was no room in the freezer for the ice cream I bought, which meant, of course, I had to finish the dregs of the previous ice cream box.

Oh, Chris. I've come to dread shopping. All kinds of shopping.

Hope you enjoyed the ice cream and did you need to taste test the one you had just bought?

That made me laugh. I hope you enjoyed the ice cream you were forced to eat. I think you had that planned.😊😊

Actually, not planned. I run hot and cold on ice cream. Might eat through a gallon in a month and then not have any in the house for 3/4 of a year! My favorite way to eat it, when I get on that gig is over Diet Coke, making a float.

Oh the sacrifice you were forced to make. hehe I like your plan of action too. Maybe I need to shop in the rain more often.

What a great idea! I think I need to do that next time it rains, although it does not rain here as often as it does where you are. Lol! Your post made me giggle a bit as I usually leave the ice cream for hubby.

Great thinking - when we were in Florida, we would go to the community pool when everyone else was cooking dinner - so we had the whole pool to ourselves! It is all a matter of timing - isn't it!!! Hugs to you, Laura

Everything seems to require too much thinking and planning!
