Which lighting do you like best?

While sewing burp cloth and bibs I let the other machine stitch out FSL. A friend of mine loves fairies and I thought this would be a fun gift. I used an old cleaned out candle jar and glued the design to the inside glass.

Love the gift! I like the lighter colour, the orangey one looks a bit spooky to me.

What a fantastic recycling job. I love the lighting on the 1st one best. Your little fairy appears to be conjuring up magic over a bonfire.

The second one. Looks like she is sitting among the fireflies after dusk.

That was my feeling as well, but after reading jrob's remark I looked at it differently

Well, Love this idea and I think the second photo would be what I would choose...I agree it looks like fireflies...So is the snowy pattern on the glass or ??? Most candles I have seen have just a clear glass...don't think I have ever seen one with a textured image...

I had treated the glass with glue spray and then sprinkled this snow material on it. Later I took a brush and brushed off any excess. If I was to do it again I think I would treat the glass with etching material.

Since it was only changing the lighting inside the jar I am giving my friend both and she can decide. I liked the bottom one the best. Reminded me of fireflies
