Finally got to do these little ITH Swaddle Sweeties from Planet Applique...the first was the 5x7 hoop size, then I up-sized the designs by 25% and did the little boy and second little girl...like this size better and still fit the 5x7 hoop...I also added the applique heart and eyelashes to the second girl which I think add a lot...The pattern has the opening in the back, but I think it would be better if the opening were at the bottom...The head is attached with a safety doll joint and it swivels...The hair is not a part of the PA design which uses faux fir...I did not want that for the little ones so I went with polar fleece hair for them...These are very time consuming, but I think the kids will love them...Thanks for looking, Cuties!

They are all adorable. I got those design too plus the hair on a different site but have not tried it all yet. When I do, I may have some questions for you!!! Hope that would be okay! Lovely stitching!! Hugs, Laura

How sweet are they. I think they will be loved to pieces.
Using polar fleece instead of fake fur was a good choice as I am thinking they could now go through a washing machine if need be.

Well done

WOW!!! Kim, these are amazing, the work that is involved in all of them is mind boggling. Your attention to the small details really make these dolls so individual. Are these for some of your great nieces?

Another question - are you making any dresses for the great nieces for Christmas?

Love Chris

Thanks, Chris, for your very kind words...yes, these will be for my great nieces and I will add their names to the swaddle wing...Not sure about Christmas dresses this year...so much going on these days. Perhaps for the littlest ones...

Yes, I understand. I’m only making Ophelie (the blue one on my page is Ophelie’s Christmas dress and I’ll make a yellow one for Delphi) and Delphi dresses this year. Aqualina and Jasana said they didn’t want one. Love Chris

I am slow these days--waiting for a Dr. office to call me with appt for biopsy. I have 5 Christmas present projects all laying out and working a little at them all. Will try to remember to post some pic's in the near future. Seems I can occasionally find 5 seconds to myself to answer but give flowers to all. I think everyone's projects are amazing but some in particular. That little tooth fairy pillow you made just came in handy as my great grand Scarlett just lost her first tooth--age 6 y/o. She called me so excited she can use her pillow for the fairy now! Thanks Kim. Will have to make one for the almost 4 y/o so if anything happens she has one from her Granny also when the time comes.

I have this design but have yet to give it a go largely because of the faux fur wig. I LOVE what you did for the hair here. I have been trying to figure out a mashup to do something similar! Do you mind to share with me how you did the hair here??? Thank you!!!

You knocked it out of the park with these little guys! I can see where it'd take a lot of time to get them so perfect, and the idea of a swivel head was super. Love them...and so will the children.
