just a QUESTION: On a facebook site I read this:
"If you post animated gifs in the comments section, we will automatically delete them. We have asked that those types of comments not happen, as some people are very sensitive to strobe like images."
That made me think: are there here cuties too who don't like gif images (the kind i always post at my freebiepost) if so please tell, in that case I will not add the gifs anymore

They don't bother me personally but I understand that some are bothered by them so I don't use them on public sites.

I find those flashing ones annoying - but I have a history of seizures that come on from flashing lights. But, I like the little sparkly ones that lots of birthday messages have. Those do not bother me like the others that blast lights in a probe-like way. I like those!

I totally understand that for medical reasons there are those who are greatly affected by them. I’m not sure if we have a policy here regarding them or not so I will check that out.

Your little images can do nothing in comparison to the flashing and moving and, well, confusing images in the ads on sites, which Cute and other sites probably can't control. If someone has serious problems with this, I can't see how they can bear to be online. I find it terribly distracting, which is the intent of the advertisers.

They do not bother me, but I could see that some people with certain medical issues could be bothered. Never had thought about that before.

They can also trigger migraines. As a migraine sufferer, I greatly appreciate the designers that are not allowing them on their pages.
