I cannot believe it is five years ago today that my amazing pekingese came into our lives. This day is not only the day we got Keenu but it is the day that Pug Rescue came into my life.
Not being a pug, Keenu joined the ranks of being an “honorary pug”. He was with Pug Rescue for over a year. As many of you know I try and help out with embroidering blankets and other items for them to sell. I also do home checks and post checks which I love.
Happy “gotcha day” my darling Keenu.

Happy Gotcha Day, Keenu! I remember the day like it was just yesterday, Sarah...how time flies. So much love you have given to each other and how much richer our lives are when we have the love of a furbaby... I know how important the pug rescue is to you and how important you are to them.... Keenu looks a bit regal sitting there on his "throne" with his beautiful blanket!

I hope Keenu is reflecting today what a lucky pup he is. His own chair, his own blanket, embroidered, and his own personal photographer. He looks so calm and happy. Have a wonderful and special Gotcha Day, you two.

Oh my! I hope you all have 5 times the joy you had the day Keenu came home 5 years ago. He has certainly given me a lot of smiles over the past 5 years when you have posted pictures of our Honorary Furbaby Cutie. And kudos to you for the many hours you have spent helping out this wonderful group called Pug Rescue.

He is so pretty. We used to have this breed when I was growing up. For him to be at a 'pug' rescue a year, seems like fate. Just waiting for you to find him. You both were fortunate it worked out this way.

Gosh Sarah, where have those 5 years gone? I remember when you got him like it was just yesterday. Your Keenu and our Ophelie’s Maisie are the same age and I know she brings so much unconditional love to us as your boy does for you. Thank you for all you do for our furry friends. Love Chris
