UPDATE-Thank the good Lord we made it-can’t go into details yet because battery low on phone and no electricity. The winds were horrendous!- So much rain, too. But we are safe and our house is standing with roof still on! Thank you Lord- thank all of you for your prayers
Hi Cuties, if any of you are watching the weather channel, we are in for another onslaught. Hurricane Delta will hit us tomorrow and Saturday.

My oldest daughter has locked everything up and left for their camp on the Mississippi/Alabama line. Richard is back overseas working. My hubby told her to come stay with us so she wouldn't be by herself, but she said no she was leaving and tried to get us to evacuate with her.

I worry more for the after effects, if Ashley loses power again, because now she has Avery and no generator. Avery's feeding pump runs on electricity and also if an emergency occurs where she needs deep suctioning, that machine is electric too.

The forecast changes so much that now the eye seems to be coming right by us, if not right over us. I pray my roof and walls stay. The wind will be our greatest threat here I believe, although a lot of rain will be dumped, we are not close to a body of water so hopefully water won't rise too high. It's already raining and it will continue, I'm sure, through Saturday.

If I have any service at all, I will try to let you know how we make it through. Pray for the lives and homes and that Delta doesn't keep strengthening. Delta is a Category 3 right now. As always I wish you all good health. Love-Toogie
I told Caroline I got scared a couple of time through Laura. I kept hearing this loud noise/roar. They say a tornado sounds like a freight train coming. My husband told me it was the winds high in the trees, whipping the tree tops. We found out at daylight it was tornadoes close. one came through between my house and Ashley's, taking out a lot of woods.
The other sound that scared me was my bedroom wall. It sounded like it was cracking or popping. I was from the living room to the bedroom all night, no sleep for me or DH. Hubby kept the TV tuned to the live weather until the satellite went out. When you really need to know what's happening you are completely cut off.
Ashley and family still here, as are our son & family and us. Last time our son and family sheltered storm together at Ashley’s house. I’m hoping they will go again. Thanks for prayers, it looks bad.....
My husband says why do they always seem to come at night. Not only do you lose connection from tv or pc but it’s dark & you can’t see what’s happening. Not that you’d have any control anyway, but the darkness just makes it scarier I guess.
I am sure I made a comment yesterday but must have forgotten to press 'submit'. However, I did not forget praying for you and yours.
Love and hugs, Martine
Thank you all for being here for me and prayers for me & my family. I can’t tell you how much it meant to me.
Such a relief for it to be over.
Glad all this stress is over😓 Very scary!
Thank you for prayers 🙏
Hey welcome to Cute!
Praying that things are better, and power is back on for you and family.
The roof collapsed in a room on their camp where she went!
The patio awning/roof on their house where he stayed was flipped on top of their house roof!😩
