I told my kids I want a barn quilt 'sign' for my house. I have a house that looks old, but is not, with a very steep roof. I want to hang one on my house. I am afraid the sign will decay if made out of wood but I'm sure a metal one would be expensive for a large one like I would like to have. My daughter could paint me one I'm sure or if I drew the pattern out and taped it off, hubby could paint me one. I'm just concerned about the plywood, as I'm sure that is what it would have to be made from.
