Hi Cuties, I've been busy making these for the past few days. I'm so peeved with myself re the bottom left hand tree one, as I'd cut the fabric too short! These are going to be placemats for my annual Christmas ladies luncheon. I've made 8 with 2 of each design and each design just a bit different with the similar fabrics. All I have to do now is back them and put a binding around them. These are the 8x12 size, a good size for a dinner plate. They are from the Australian company called Sweetpea from Queensland. All applique, fiddly but don't they look festive? Love Chris

Hi Angie, it's been a funny old year hasn't it? I haven't stopped sewing as we have been very fortunate here in Newcastle as we've had no Coronavirus outbreaks. Sydney on the other hand has had a lot. You'll soon get over the blahs! Love Chris
