I thought I would send you this picture of how our trees are beginning to change color for the Fall. My Hubby took this with his new drone (he is very careful not to go too high for aircraft safety reasons). It is above our house and beyond you can see Lake Michigan. We live about 3/4 of a mile (by way the crow flies) from Lake Michigan and are surrounded by the most beautiful trees. As our trees get more brilliant, I will post another one. Hugs, Laura

Creation is gorgeous and you are blessed to live in such a beautiful spot! Thank you for this brilliantly colored picture. When I wanted to take the trip to Maine my husband couldn’t understand why I felt the need to witness the hanging of the leaves. He said the leaves change here too!-🤣 The leave there were a peachy color, so pretty, like yours I imagine. The lake and sky are such a beautiful blue. I can just imagine how satisfied God was when he created all this!

Honestly, we have a ways to go - the trees will be brilliant in a few weeks! Hope I can get a picture of that! Oh, the trees in Maine are so wonderful - I remember thinking everywhere I looked it looked like Christmas trees - so pretty!!

There's nothing like the color in Michigan's leaves and the blue of Lake Michigan. I'll never get to see them again in person so I really enjoy the pics. Thank you, thank you.

Oh, I wish there was no pandemic - we'd drive down and bring you back for Michigan visit! My hubby says for certain he will take more pictures as our foliage changes even more!! Loads of hugs, Laura

Oh, I am certain your trees are ahead of ours - they must be beautiful! This is the second drone for my hubby - the first was not very "flyable" and ended up in a pond!! This new one has more bells and whistles on it and he is really getting the hang of it! Thanks!! Hugs, Laura

Our Lake Michigan is sometimes like an ocean in that sometimes people surf on it - it gets so rough and then other times it is smooth as glass. Thanks!!

Christine, I love the fall colors too!! I have seen that lake churning and ferocious, sometimes frozen over and sometimes so smooth. Right now it looks very blue probably because of such blue skies.

I miss Penna because of the colorful trees in the fall, love the reds, oranges and inbetween colors. All we get here is yellow and dirty brown...

I know our winter is right around the corner. If it is a bad one - it can last for an easy 5 months. I'm hoping it won't be too bad this year. We may head to Florida in February if the pandemic eases up a bit - but, I don't count on it. Enjoy your summer!!!
