I am wondering about ordering those T-shirt templates. Im thinking's got the ones you place between the layers of the top and bottom parts of the T-shirt. Then it shows you right where you should line up the design. I so often get the design too high, or low or too far to the outside or inside. Have any of you used these? Do I need to buy the plastic device, or would one of those download images work the same?
I'd love to know the pros and cons.....

I thought the little L shaped ruler was a nifty fix for me.

I used a bit of cardboard to make my own, looks a bit like the one you showed below. Had to do six at the time and wanted them all in the same spot.
I punched a hole where I wanted the centre of the design. It shows my hubby's favourite cornflakes brand on the other side :)

Love the cornflake brand - so that's the weight of the cardboard.... Thanks

I just print a template and mark the cross hairs on the item to be stitched...I have never had a problem with placement.
