Now finished my birdquilt. Used some Kaffe Fassett fabrics. Didn´t make any border onloy cut fabric and washed to have a used look. For backing i have used a chocolatefabric

Using the fabrics with wording behind the birds gives such a fresh, modern look to the quilt. A beautiful job and congratulations!

Love your birds, and the newsprint behind the birds. I've made a number of bird blocks - haven't made the quilt yet. Wish I would of thought of Kaffe Fassett fabrics. I keep saving those fabric for something special. You've made yours special. I must rethink.

Great work! Love Kaffe Fassett fabrics, so colorful. I also have never seen the chocolate fabric before. Great choice for a chocolate lover like me! Who makes the chocolate fabric? I also love the newspaper fabric. You must have a good fabric supply store, with selections like these.
