Hi Viv, I made this for Anzac Day this year. During the Covid lock-down, we were all asked to stand in our driveways at dawn wearing or holding something in memory of our fallen.
As Marian has said it's from the New Zealand company Kreative Kiwi, I often refer to it as KK. Love Chris

Thanks Chris. I made the small poppy from Sweet Pea & wore it in memory of my late husband who was a Vietnam Vet.

Remembrance Day is always special. I was in Bunnings (hardware store) today and was amazed how many customers and staff did not stand still as the last post was played.

What a beautiful tribute to those fallen, Chris... I love your poppy stitchout as well... We can't thank our military and veterans including families enough for their service and unwavering commitment to allow us to enjoy the freedoms they help provide.

Truly a beautiful tribute to the millions of men and women who have fought for freedom. And I'm talking about your beautiful Opera House and your beautiful poppy stitch out.

Thanks Karen, the Opera House looked spectacular. It's such an iconic structure and we have all sorts of light shows displayed on the arches.

Beautiful! What a magnificent show at the Opera House, to jolt everyone to remember, lest they forgot. Beautiful stitch out too! Freedom and peace mean so much, but it is never free. Some have paid the highest price and to those we are grateful.
