This is a treat for myself. The plain towels are vintage100% Italian linen, a present from my late Mother in 1978, left in a draw for so many years and now brought to life with my embroidery.

These are very special towels, and I understand why you left them in the drawer. You have the perfect designs and thread choices to make the towels blossom! I'm sure you'll have them with you and think of your mother when you look at them. I'm not sure I'd actually use them really. They are more like a painting and a memory that you enjoy keeping.

What a lovely story as the precious gift from your mother and now you've finally got it out to embroider, use and you can think about getting this all these years ago. When we go through things it helps us think of our wonderful loving mothers. It is beautiful and so meaningful.
