This is a shopping type bag I made for my Cousin. She bought a small piece of fabric at a Garage sale for $1 and left it with me almost 18months ago to think of a way to use it. The piece was about 27inches by 12.5 but not cut straight. I was making placemats and thought of the fabric but decided it would be a waste to use it for that.

So this is what I came up with plain black and black and white paw print from my stash and the Dog fabric was her bargain buy.
I decided it would be a good opportunity to get some more practice on my Treadle machine. So I made the whole thing on it even put a pocket inside with a zip closure.
It is in the post at the moment on it's way to her as we can't visit each other at the moment.
