This looks like hand embroidery, if they were taken from a curtain it would have been hand sewn. Hugs from Maureen

I thought so too. But, the top one has thread connecting the smoke puffs. Not an usual techique in hand work. I think we'd have to actually see the backside to be sure.

Hi Sandi, could one of the digitisers on here help you recreate the design? If it was on a curtain from years ago, who knows who the designer was? I hope you can get some help. Love Chris

These 2 designs are definitely machine embroidery & not hand embroidered.
Also it is NOT from Husqvarna as was suggested to me!

Is it done with ME thread? or maybe one of those special threads that are a little fuzzy? I'm sorry that I am of no help to you as I have no clue where they came from! Very unusual designs.

No I think they look like that because of the washing of the curtain over the years! It hung in the kitchen!
