Made these hex trays (each in a 8x12 hoop) for my 3 brothers for a little Christmas gift. My younger brother pasted away this year - The holidays can be a sad time and it seems so unreal not to be remembering him with a gift and a telephone call. Thanks for taking a look! Hugs to all, Laura

Yes, sometimes I can't even sleep when thoughts of my mom and dad passing away. It can be sad any time of the year. I will pray for your comfort and the joy you will have with your other siblings or relatives. These bowls are stunning. I have not see the 'hexagons' or I don't remember seeing this kind. They are beautiful.

Very nice Laura! Memories are good, as long as we don't let sadness because they are gone, drag us down too long.
I am wondering about my SIL and his family having lost his dad this week. Christmas won't be the same without their Poppa. He always read the Christmas story from Luke, to all his children and grandchildren gathered around that day.

Oh, you know he will be missed. The sadness hit me when I was wrapping presents and getting them ready to be mailed out - I couldn't do it for my brother, Jeff. We have so much to be thankful for that I will not let the sadness drag me down! Hugs to you and stay safe! Laura

lovely !! what kind of material did you use ? Leather ? and what about the corners; are these at type of clippings ?

I used Marine vinyl on both sides of each of these. The corners are done with snaps. They can be unsnapped and will lay flat if they want to take one on a trip (a place to set their keys and wallet). I could have done them with rivets - but that would have been permanent. Stay safe!!
