Got 6 1/2 doz hats done......so half way there....am doing some small jobs in between like this....this lady make memory pillows and memory bears out of garments of lost loved ones.....I did 9 of these.......love the saying!

Jim helped me finish them last night....I developed a bout of vertigo, so I sat at the machine and hooped and loaded it and he cut the stabilizer away and packed them up as I finished. Took teamwork, but they are done.....not quite as dizzy today, but just queasy now...ugh!

The lady who does the bears and pillows writes the stuff out and I just lay it out and stitch it so she can make the bear or pillow.......no idea where she gets the poetry....

We all have had to say goodbyes, this year and lately, so many. Buried a first cousin and my SIL's dad just this week. I texted my daughter to see if Richard had any of his daughter's clothes. I wanted to make them a pillow with this saying. Richard is working again overseas and won't be back for Christmas. He and my daughter are still having a hard time with the loss of Gracie, his daughter. Unfortunately, she said they didn't get any of Gracie's clothing. I guess I could make it anyway but usually memory pillows are made with ones clothing....
