Ben and his new partner Mia opened up their home for lunch. Ben got his 3 boys from 1.00pm for a sleep over
Mum enjoyed seeing everyone. It was a long day
So lucky there is no Covid19 here in Newcastle.

Thanks Karen, it was wonderful. Such a lovely cool day too for the cooks. Fortunately we had prepared all the food the day before and we had cold ham, seafood, chicken and lots of salads. So much food that we are now up at Mont Valley at our friend's place that we often come to and Ben and Mia and 3 of her children have just arrived with all the left overs! Feast for 4 days!! Lovely photos to cherish Chris. Lovely to get all the family together. We spent the day with out daughter and son-in-law and grandson and his wife. Our son and D-I-L and 2 grandchildren were down at the beach camping so we will catch up with them soon. We checked in on Ralphs brother and caught up with some of his family. We had a very enjoyable day as well. Hugs

We were so lucky as it was raining in the morning and by 2.00 it was just perfect about 23C. Wasn't hot at all, as I truly do not like the summers up here! So glad you had a wonderful day too, Love Chris

Thanks Laura, yes, we were so blessed. Such a wonderful, noisy, fun filled day. Came back this morning to Ben's to collect all the things that I had to bring and to collect Amy's car. She came along with me, they had a few drinks yesterday and being the sensible girl, she decided to leave her car at Ben's. I'm fortunate as I only had about a 1/4 glass of sparkling wine. I don't drink alcohol much these days, too much sugar! Love Chris

Hi Suzanne, it's a pity that the Corona19 has caused so many problems throughout the world. I feel dreadful for those who have lost loved ones and couldn't even be there with them at their time of dying. Love Chris

Thanks Suzanna, yes, I know how cold it is in the northern hemisphere. It's about 30C today and so humid yuck! But we are in air conditioned comfort up at our friend's place (house sitting) in the Hunter Valley at Mount View. Love Chris

hi Chris, lovely pictures. Great to see you mum looking so well and happy. So pleased it was cool, unlike last year when the whole of Australia was melting and on fire in some cases. We all went to the beach and stupidly I got very few pictures of us. All of us were there apart from one Grand-daughter who was stuck in WA and not game to risk the border crossing.

Oh, sorry that your grand-daughter got stuck at the order. Yes, I was very pleased with the weather, just right and Mum enjoyed herself immensely.
Hopefully once these few cases of Corona19 in Sydney are gone, things might open up a bit more.

Mia (Ben’s partner) just sent through this picture of me and our girls. I thought it was gorgeous. Trev just had a look and said “It’s washed out”. I think different cameras have so many colours to choose from. My dress is actually more like an Avocado green! As I’m aging my eyes are getting darker (due to my Glaucoma). My doctor told me my eyes will go dark and my eyelashes will get longer! I told him I already have long lashes he he he! Love Chris

Thanks Jan, Mum is going to be 87 in January and has a couple of health issues, plus short term memory loss, but not too bad for an old lady.
We don't need masks up here and people are pretty good with personal distancing. Sydney has issues down there and have lock down issues, but we are lucky here. Love Chris
