We did the towel topper at our sewing club. Instead of buttons we did snaps.

Hi Carolyn, those zigzag lines would annoy me, being OCD as I am.
I am assuming that this is an applique design and that you've just sewn it out to test it, without laying fabric over the lettering!!. Great design for a Valentine's gift though. Love Chris
