Tried my hand at making and embroidering a fabric basket. My photos are not that great - honestly it isn't wonky like the pictures look! I will make more - but smaller - this one 11 inches tall. It is fully lined and stands up on its own. Thanks for looking! Hugs to all - stay safe! Laura

Oh, I'll probably be giving it away - we have a few friends with boats that I think might like it. Thank you!!

Did you put foam in it to make it stand up? I found some at a cheapie shop that was in a pack of 12 a bit bigger than A4 size for a couple of dollars and it was adhesive on one side. Worked well for a tablet bag and the machine stitched through it not problem. I know a lot of people have bought the proper foam stuff for bags and back packs but sometimes when you are inventing as you go a cheaper option is good.

No foam. It is duck canvas material that I back with Pellon 809 and cotton lining. It stands up easy by itself. Thanks!

I appreciate it - I had the design and a length of fabric that seems to go together - just luck!!

Thank you, Chris - this was a fun project. While my embroidery was being stitched out - I was able to sew the lining together. I'll be making more. Hugs to you, Laura

Absolutely, you should do one. I take more time trying to decide on the design and picking out the fabric than it takes to embroider and stitch! Thanks!!
