A jacket form the golf set of shirts I was given, I put a separating zipper in this one, but using what I had it was to long so I cut it off (I did not have the stop tab to but in the top) I zig zag the edge to keep the slide from coming off, also I wanted to put some black cuffs on it and did not have those, the back side of the knit was black so I used that to make my cuffs, turned out ok. here is a picture with a hooded shirt under it and one without the shirt I like it both ways. sorry my sewing room is such a mess, Why is it you do not notice these thing until you take a picture or some friend stops by the you are ashamed of your work area.

I love what you did with this! I have a sweatshirt just given to me which is huge (has an emblem on the front) and I wonder what to do with it - lol. I don't think you should worry about a messy sewing room. It just shows how busy you are!! Hugs!!

Lovely top.If I have to cut the end of a zipper I put some clear nail polish on the teeth before I cut the end off .Depending when you need to cut the zip off ,put a small gold safety pin across the zipper where you need to cut ,as a reminder

Oh never though of that, but I don't wear nail polish so I don't have any on hand and with covid -19 I don't go very often and been anywhere since Christmas. sewing helps kept me content. But if you pull the tab off it is easy to put back on before you close the end.

I guess sewing comes easy for me, But I have a lot of experience, I remember make doll dresses by the time I was in the third grade. So nice to know other like what one has created.

It is so easy to set down and do this that I don't think of it as talent at all, Just something the Lord has allowed me to be able to do. But thanks I enjoy sharing with it with others I have made a lot of thing for some of the girls and young boys in my church.

Another super re-design. Don't care about the mess. I have a sign that says "If you come to see me, come any time. If you come to see my house, please make an appointment." Maybe you can make this work for your sewing room.
