Very nice, still trying to pluck up the courage to make a bag the zipper is the big hold up. "G" Please don't tell me it is easy, because my girl friends say the same. LOL

If you sew step by step it is not so difficult. But had to use the seamripper once or twice

Green plaid Scotch tape to hold zipper in place is my trick.

I always am a bit anxious to put in zippers no matter how much I try I just can't get all the stitching straight. It is really hard, too, to find a strong, substantial zipper for things like heavy purses.

I got mine pre-packaged at Walmart, Jenne. Mine is different though. Anita is out of the country, but it doesn't mean you can't order it online. I'm sure she will respond when she sees your post.

Oh Anita, this makes me want to make a bag! Lovely job you have done. I have some map fabric and as much as I DID travel, I never thought to make a bag out of it. I may change my mind now. Did you use something to give it body? I use a foam like fabric, called headliner fabric, sometimes. I know Chris uses something else, but I can't think what it is called, at the moment.

Toogie, You may be thinking about "Soft and Stable by Annie". I have used that, but, the one from Walmart is very similar. Not sure if I can mention a website here? She doesn't sell designs...………..she is a bag/purse designer and is vey helpful. The site is called Sew Sweetness and they do a live FB on Sunday 8 p.m. ET. She(Sara) sells bag patterns, etc, but, she has some very nice free patterns with step by step videos. Just thought I would mention in case there are those who might not know about the site and need help with bag making. I know I feel very blessed to have found the site. She is truly a gifted young lady.
Happy love day to all, Millie

No one will have one like it for sure! I like how perfectly you did that outside pouch with a button tab. I have never seen anything like that before. I am curious about the strap. Did you put a special stablizer inside it? or do something to it so that it would wear well?

I've never heard of Odi Coat before. Sounds like a good product to use on the back side of my mug rugs to waterproof them.
