Spring warnings. Early in week, thunderstorm and pouring rain at the crack of dawn, felt like tornado weather. Thursday heard a song bird singing up a storm, which, it's been a while. Friday, first two daffodils opened, which ya'll know is one of my favorite things. So, they did get enough cold from the 3 nights below 30 degrees to set blooms. Last 3 years have not been good blooming years. I so need their cheery yellow.

We get about half way through the daffodil blooms and then have two days of 79 or 80 degrees, and the blooms shrivel and it might as well be summer.

We are having some of the coldest weather ever here in central Texas. Now it is raining and icing and snow is expected later today/tonight. Send some pics. After all the gray days we could all use some cheer. Hugs. Nan

Oh, I so miss daffodils. They really don't like our weather. I think all my favorite flowers were the ones that would gradually pop up in the Spring and we don't really do much Spring here where we are in Texas. Of course, our weather right now is not normal for our area. Unheard of lows in the teens. Hoping that we don't lose our citrus trees tonight.
