It is very difficult for us moderators to check for copyright issues in all of the malls. Unfortunately a lot of them do not hold their vendors responsible. In order to help us, we are asking no more links or mentioning of any them.
INSTEAD
give credit to the individual vendor and support the ones that are fair by not ignoring copyright issues. Most of them have their own websites you can go too. Happy Stitching

So if there is a design at a mall we can talk about it but just say it's by "the vendor name" but not the "mall name"?

Yes. Assuming that the vendor does not have any copyright issues. The majority are abiding by the laws.
Ok, I'll go through my post to see what to remove. Might not happen today, new grandson is coming to visit today.

Help me understand what makes it a mall. I know OPW says mall in its name. But, there are other sites with multiple digitizers, such as DBS. Does that make them a mall?

Excellent question!
A mall is a site that hosts multiple designers and their websites. In other words they are individual companies that use a mall. Does that answer the question? DBS is not.

I am not familiar with it and need time to check it out. At first it seemed as if they only link to digital companies but now I realized they link to other companies offering embroidery designs. For the time being treat them like a mall please.

I can understand the problems, and it's a lot of work to go through all pages of the embroidery sites, to see if there are copyright issues on them, A lot of work for you ( and for me)....thank you for your post, hugs )))💖
