Hi Cuties, Amy and Steve’s Home is beginning to take shape, well the pool is in and the brick supports are in and the bricks to build the frame are on the block. We’ve been held up because of having so much rain. We’ve got a good week this week so hope more work will be done. I’ve been busy making a new Sweetpea bag in black, white and red.

Trev and I off to the blue mountains this week and staying at The Majestic Hotel at Medlow Bath, sounds very British doesn’t it? Then we’re going to Sydney on Saturday and going to the opera to see Tosca by Puccini all sung in Italian - I hope to be able to understand some of the lyrics. Love Chris

P.S. I also put a spiel why the Blue Mountains are called the Blue Mountains -

"The Blue Mountains is densely populated by oil bearing Eucalyptus trees. The atmosphere is filled with finely dispersed droplets of oil, which, in combination with dust particles and water vapour, scatter short-wave length rays of light which are predominantly blue in colour."

Oh my! It looks like big changes are in place already. I'm so happy to see progress. Enjoy your trip to the Blue Mountains and Sydney. I absolutely loved the aquarium in Sydney.

Thanks Karen, yes, the Aquarium in Sydney is stunning. I love walking under the glass tunnel and watching the sting rays and sharks gliding by. There is a massive pool in Dubai that we visited a few years ago and that was AMAZING!!! Love Chris

Thanks Shirley, I'm really looking forward to it. We are slowly getting back to normal travelling. We are supposed to go to New Zealand in June, but waiting to see if it will go ahead. We are trying to do all the travel that was cancelled last year for this year. Love Chris

Have a great time Chris and in regard to the Opera please do not try to hard to translate, you will be missing the beauty of the music!

Hi Roberta, yes, I know. It's difficult enough just talking, let alone trying to translate. I just love Italian vocabulary in general, so will thoroughly enjoy it. Love Chris

Years ago my employer gave me tickets to the Fort Worth Opera, and I was so upset in advance because they had the new technology with subtitles, and I thought it would ruin the experience. In actuality, I enjoyed it much more for having help in understanding the plot!

I will say again, every thing finished makes one excited to see, knowing they are that much closer to moving in. Your vacation spot looks lovely. Enjoy your get-a-way!

Thanks Toogie, I wholeheartedly agree. We've got rain again today and late yesterday afternoon, but at least the wooden joists and runners are now down on the brick piers. We've got a thunderstorm here as I write and Maisie is hiding under my feet!!!!!! I think we might have rain down in the blue mountains tomorrow, but it will still be great. Love Chris

Did they put the pool in before they built the house?
