working on a skirt, I found some fabric the last time is was at a good quilt store they also carry dress fabric , just so happen some of the colors match a jacket I made last summer so I will have a complete outfit just what I need. haha

I still can't stitch yet on my machines, but when I can, I already have coasters, a stove cover (I have a ceramic stove top and like to keep it covered when not in use) placemats to make and jeans to hem.

Hope your up to embroidery very soon
I saw where you said u keep a cover over the top of your stove, I have an induction stove top and I have always kept a cover over it, sometimes I embroidery something on it, It is right under my microwave so it catches a lot of crumbs that fall from it.

Start on Christmas or a big project, like a quilt? I'm actually not sewing today, but having a day of rest (I called in sick - to myself) after 17 days straight of digging rocks to improve my wall. Rain and tornadoes expected, so that's my excuse! I have almost finished the work on the wall and just in time as we are getting some 80 degree days. The weather has been glorious - days sort of 60 to 80 degrees, light wind, overcast mixed with sun, so I've been trying to get done what I want to in the yard while it is so nice. The sunlight has definitely improved my disposition!

Sunshine really does improve life. I have a sunny day today and we went for a walk that we go on regularly. One returns feeling uplifted. Enjoy your day of rest and have fun doing so. How big is your back yard? In the UK a yard is small and often concrete and no flowers or grass

I found a jacket I cut out several years ago. I will check it out and maybe sew some of it together. I have had a busy morning so maybe a nap is in order.

Hopefully finish some track suits for great grand baby. We have rain and cool weather at last so no need for air con or fans. Haven't been this cool for months.
