Hi Cuties, you know how I’ve been showing you upgrades on Amy and Steve’s new build, well have a look at this. We’ve had torrential rain for over 4 days - now this pool is over a Metre and a half deep and it’s not run off water - just from the sky!!!

I think we’ll be sending out for Noah’s Ark soon 😊😊 love Chris

There is a place up the coast that has had nearly a metre of rain this month & there is still 8 day to go.

HI Laura, it's disheartening I know, but at least it can be pumped away. Our poor New South Welshmen and women further up our coast are in real dire straits. Love Chris

I was wondering about that pool yesterday after emptying buckets of water from our garden.Even a empty terracotta pot which has a narrow opening & is in a sheltered spot ,had nearly 10ins of water in it.

Hi, Judy, the pool contractors will take the water out once they've got a few dry days. Love Chris

Oh wow that is a lot of rain!!! We saw the flooding on the news last night and animals being rescued. All I could do was think of you. Stay safe and hope you don't flood... I pray for you and all the people there struggling with the water. Amy is going to have a beautiful house and pool when done.
HUGS

Hi Suzanne, yes, we are fine thankfully. Yes, Amy's home will be gorgeous once finished! Another hold up of course due to the weather. Love Chris

Well it proves that its been made well. The amount of rain falling is causing such problems for many.

Hi Caroline, yes, that's for sure. Now all they have to do is have it drained before they can finish it off! Love Chris

Ha ha Sarah, unfortunately it's not done any good to the floorboards. Steve had to meet with the builder this morning at 7.15 to discuss!! We'll find out tonight what will happen. Love Chris

Oh my! That picture of her pool tells the story of just how bad the flooding is for you. Glad to hear each day you are safe and reasonably dry in your house. Prayers it stays that way.

Thanks Karen, yes, it's been a flood like no other. As I said previously our New South Welshmen/women up north and down south have in some cases have lost everything, including houses being swept of their piers and floating down the rivers! Love Chris

Hi Shirley, no it's just dirt mixed in with the water. Once it's all drained and refilled correctly it will be sparkly! Love Chris

That is quite a bit of water. Looks like progress has been made on the house. Hopefully it will be framed and dried in soon.

Hi Chris, yes, we are hoping for that too. We knew the weather would be an issue, but because of La Nina it's been overwhelming. Love Chris

A good time to checkout where future problems could be and make adjustments to drainage before building is completed. Pool doesn't sound very deep at a metre and a half is it just a paddling pool?

Hi Barb, it's only a lap pool, one end is deeper than the other. It was drained yesterday and is back to normal. Love Chris
