Chris it’s lovely getting the updates seeing the progress. We built our first house with my husband doing much of the work after the shell was up. This is bringing back memories. Bet Amy and family are so excited by the progress

I have just remembered that when building was in progress I stood on a piece of floorboard on the first floor which wasnt nailed down... it and I fell onto the concrete floor below and I missed a pile of bricks by inches. Damaged my spine and spent a week in hospital.

Ooh! dear me Caroline, that would have been so painful. Damaging your spine is not a nice thing to happen.
I asked Amy if they had an updated end time, no such luck, he (the builder) said abut 8-10 months which would take us down to September. I bet it's closer to December! Love Chris

looking good they will be very happy when it's finished. Just a word of caution with all the rain we have just had get them to make sure the flooring is completely dry as mould spores can live in it. Sunrise had a interview with a specialist about this, this morning.

Thanks Marian, I never watch Channel 7 news, I'm a Channel 9 person. Their Architect and builder have allowed plenty of air time between putting up the flooring and support sections, so I hope they will be o.k. Plus they are over a metre off the ground, with great circulation! Love Chris

Hi Karen, you and me both. Mum thought they'd be in soon and she can clear out her garage! Ha ha ha! I told Mum, no it won't be for a few months yet. Love Chris

Wow! It is going up fast! Love this part! Those are some high ceilings for the second floor.

Hi Chris, yes, the ceilings are very high in the home. The top floor towers over the next door neighbour's roof!! Love Chris
