My youngest daughter Emma, is supposed to be spending two weeks in Kenya on her way back to Dubai from South Africa. She is not allowed to fly directly to UAE. She heard yesterday that Kenya is closing it’s borders. She will now fly to Rwanda and stay there, hopefully for the rest of the time. She video called me last night to tell me that she has booked to go and see the gorillas. This is just a chance in a lifetime and I am so envious. Go well my girl.

I hope Emma gets home and has a super holiday first. Covid has changed life and we have to think more, keep safe and keep living.

I am actually a little nervous. She is fine in Kenya as the hotel knows her well when she travels for business. She has been in S. Africa for three weeks seeing her dad, her other son and her sister.

That's so exciting. My son got an invite when he was about 10 to go sit on the floor at the museum with Dian Fossey and hear about the gorillas. He was all charged up about the animals for a couple of years after that!
