Hi Cuties, I wanted to give you a heads up. You may want to check your Walmart’s because yesterday my traveling niece called me to say a local Walmart had Fat Quarters half off. She doesn’t see but knew I made a lot of her trip gifts with FQ’s. These were supposed to be Easter but unless I’m overlooking something, you could use them any time. These animal ones will make a child’s or baby quilt. I may make another with the flowered group. You can use FQs for many things just look back at all the Sewing projects I’ve made or ITH projects, you don’t have to make a quilt! Hope you are able to find some reduced at your Walmart!

Good Find. Would love to go to Walmart to see what they have for fat quarters, but right now I am no doing any shopping. I get the second vaccine tomorrow, then wait the necessary 2 weeks, next hair cut, see family members and shop until I drop. I cannon tell you how excited I am.

Good for you! We got our 2nd over a month ago. I usually just grocery shop once a month but always STILL with mask. I feel a lot better being vaccinated otherwise I wouldn’t have went for these. Wore my mask, got them and left. We got together with family for Easter so I know how you are looking forward. My husband’s brothers funeral, fell about the 10th day of our 2 weeks. We were apprehensive but kept our mask on.

Thanks, I got my second covid shot on Monday April the 5th , after the wait of two weeks I will feel a little bit safer.

I understand what you mean about re-checking before adding to cart of finalizing order. I searched for something once and thought I was getting the size I wanted because I specifically typed correct size. I got smaller hooks for my ITH hand sanitizers. The lobster clasp is really too small to clip on your handbag.

Regular price for a FQ now is $1.47 at Walmart, but I was charged 72 cents each. I wanted to make sure I had plenty for a quilt the size I wanted. I have a feeling I may not need this many but then again, I wasn't sure. I can always make accessories to match, if I do have more than I need. Burp cloths, etc.
Wow what a bargain. Some of our fat quarters can be as much as $7.
I would have done what you did as nothing is more frustrating than not being able to get a bit more when you need it.
