The shops opened today in the UK so I was back in the fabric shop first thing. The shop has been re arranged by the owner so it was a tad confusing. I must have got out of the habit of buying fabric as I paid the bill for the zips I had received over lockdown and didnt buy any fabric. Dont think the none buying fabric will last long.

I am willing to bet that the none buying fabric will not last long. It is a addiction. How nice that the shops are open again. Slowly we seem to get normal back. One of my daughters family all have been vaccinated, so we once again had dinner together last Saturday.

I am sure its great to have family meals together. In the UK vaccination is by age so only the daughter at the hospital has been jabbed the rest are too young. BUT it will happen
Yes it was great AND to be able to hug. Like you said it will happen for you as well,, just not as fast.

So glad you were able to go into a shop! I know when ours opened in Pennsylvania, USA, I went to Gettysburg and made a couple hundred dollar purchase. I feel for all the mom and pop shops. Take care and stay safe!

Please what are 'mom and pop shops?'
We refer to small businesses as Mom and Pops stores here in the USA. I guess it comes from the fact that often they are run by families or individual owners

Woo Hoo...albeit I don't think you will have many more days where you don't actually buy fabric when you visit...

The owner had been in over lockdown and re arranged the shop and there was a huge amount of stock which wasnt that easy to see but it was great to go in
