Hi Lynn, yes, the kids are so looking forward to moving in. It won't be till nearly October, so I've been told. They went out last week to select tiles, bath, kitchen gear etc. The floorboards that Steve saved from the old house turns out not to be enough! So they are trying to come up with an alternative! Love Chris
Hope they can find a use for the floor boards; maybe combine them with tiles, walls, part of a decking, build furniture etc. It would be such a shame not to be able to use the lovely old timber and the memories it would bring. Good luck and and I will pray for more energy and patience for you. Been where you are and it's exhausting after a while. LOL
Thanks Lynn, yes, the kids will be putting them in other areas as they want to incorporate the old with the new. Thanks for your prayers for me. You are right it is very tiring, but I think we've still got a way to go. I have an appointment with the Geriatrician which arrived in the mail on Friday and it's not till August! She is so booked out! A good sign that she is highly sought after. Love Chris

Hi Karen, it does stand out in the street. I think Steve was aiming for the height as he's tall. The rooms though are not that large, so it will be interesting to see them once the gyprock (plasterboard) is up on the walls etc. Love Chris

Hi Suzanna, no sorry they don't have water views. If they did you can add another million onto the price!!! Merewether is the wealthiest suburb in Newcastle!

Oh my goodness, is that three storeys?? You all must be hanging out to see it finished and the best part of all moving in to a lovely new home. The weather is also behaving for the builders, looks so sunny and nice and warm.

Hi Sewmad, no it's only 2 stories, but because of the huge raked roofline it towers over every house close by. I can't wait for them to move into it too, it's going to be fun cleaning out all the stuff that is in storage in my Mum's garage. It has been beautiful clear days here for the past week, but cold in the mornings. I'm with you, I prefer the cold to the heat. Keep safe, love Chris
