Hi Cuties! Here are 2 Memory Pillows I made Douglas’s daughters from his shirts. I used the diamond shape, for my piecing of one side because his band was called Country Diamonds. The opposite side is his shirt front.
I am fixing to quilt Jenny’s Queen quilt. I want to have all of them ready by Fathers Day. Maybe this will give them a little happiness on what is sure to be a sad day for them, their first Fathers Day without him. I think they will like them.

Great job! I know they will be so happy with them. I love how you made the diamond side for his memory of the band. I made 3 memory quilts for step-daughters, delivered on the first fathers day without their dad. Quilting is not my thing but I admire yours and others who take the time to produce such beautiful quilts. Bless you, Suzanna

I’m sure your quilts were fine and received with joy and a few tears. He wanted all his music to go to the baby girl as she helped him so much with it. She will understand the diamond on the pillow.

My friend said the girls will cry but this time I hope they’re happy tears. I am taking a break from quilting. I’ve been at it all day but I’m about 3/4 through Jenny’s queen quilt.
