You have done a fantastic job and it is beautiful. Since you ask. How about some roses up one sleeve, maybe just the greenery and buds if you have the ability to split them, which I am guessing you do. Even if you don't care for the idea the shirt well done as it is.

Very nice. I would stop at this, less is more with some items. Although I do like to put a small bud or leaf on the cuff sometimes.

What a great way to dress up a denim shirt! Was it difficult to stitch over the pleat in the back? Or, was it stitched closed?

Suzanna, it looks perfect. If you did want to add something maybe a bud with a leaf on each collar point, although it would be difficult to hoop. Of course you could make it an applique and sew it on by hand! Love it, love Chris

It is lovely as is but some comments about buds etc would be nice if you were wanting to. I love looking at older shirts or those made to look old and doing revamping and things like that. I have a basket of my mom's [who is deceased now] and also a few of mine tucked under a table--too nice to throw out. Was just telling myself I need to get in that basket and see what is in it. Just gave one of my greatgranddaughters, now they are back to playing with 18 in. dolls, a sparkly single sock and told her to cut it off and make her doll a tube dress. She really took to that idea and only 7 y/o. Told her mommy might have to help with scissors though.

Thank you! I have only my older clothing, always looking for a way to update them....if they fit! Cute idea for the grands dolls. Actually the shirt is new, but looks worn. I only buy them when on sale.
