this a border print fabric, the large flowers at the bottom and the narrow flowers where at the top of the fabric, I cut it so I could get sleeves and a sash for the waist.

What a cute little dress! She'll be thrilled to wear it. I can't quite see what those little black embellishments around the neckline are. Buttons? Embroidered flowers? They are a nice touch to finish off the neckline.

If you could see them up close they are purple stars sewn on, this is some "Daisy Kingdom" fabric I have had for ages. Thanks.

The dress is extremely cute. It is fun to make something with fabric that has been around a while. It is a reassurance that it is ok to purchase fabric just because we like it.

This is gorgeous. I was going to say I hadn't seen the brand of fabric 'Daisy Kingdom' in some time, but then, I hadn't looked in a long time either. That little girl is going to look fantastic in her new dress--what a nice gift.
