A dress for a young girl at my church, the ribbon was not wide enough ( all I had that looked good with the aqua checked fabric) so I added lace to it to make it wider, and some clear shinny beads on the front along with the rosette at the waist, with bias binding for a hem.

You did a wonderful job on this adorable dress - the lace trim is perfect. She will love it and you are a very kind person to make this for her. Hugs!

I only had 2 yards so was limited in the style of dress I could make, its fairly simple just fancy it up some with lace and beads.
