Vivian I am so proud of you! I wish you years of happy sewing and creating items for yourself, love ones or charities. It is always good to give. However, the feelings we experience, as we sew and give something we made, are very satisfying. Sewing allows us the opportunity to think of our recipient as we sew or quiet times to pray for others. I know your grandmother is happy you have shown an interest in sewing because it can be fun and is necessary for something as simple as replacing a missing button. Love your pillowcase, your smiling face and your g-ma Laura for providing you your first of many machines!

I am thinking Vivian is a natural sewer as it was only the other day she received her sewing machine and now has produced an excellent pillowcase for her cousin.
