Today has been quite a day in my life. My daughter Charlotte, her husband and twins left at lunchtime to live in UK. I have known they were leaving South Africa since Christmas. Ten days ago we flew to Johannesburg to say goodbye. I had no idea how depressed I would get. I have had some nasty eczema since January and I realise that it is due to stress.

Today I feel as if a huge weight has been lifted. They are gone - no more waiting for them to leave - a done deal.

I will miss them so very much and as soon as Covid lifts or we learn to live with Covid, we will be flying over to see them. Go well my very special family.
Big hugs from London UK
Is moving where they are an option?
I hope you are soon able to get over the eczema and don't feel the stress so badly. I'm glad that you can focus on the future and more joyous times when you will be able to see them again.

Just a thought for how to keep your kids in your life from a distance.

Hope you will be able to have a lot of contact with the family and hopefully see eachother sooner as you think. Hugs are coming your way ))))
I do pray that once the family are settled you will get to see Georgie and Ben and of course Charlotte and your son in law. I love the fact that we can 'talk' via Skype, Whatsapp, video etc. and I'm sure you'll have lots of contact. Sending my love and hugs to you, Chris
