Update: Still no response from Phillip. It is very worrisome! My daughter-in-law has a good Aussie friend, who is in the capital of Afghanistan and he hasn't been able to get to the airport yet. His name is Phillip. Would you please keep him and everyone trying to get away - in your prayers? If you'd like, I will keep you updated when he is able to leave. Thank you so much!! DIL, Alira has not heard anything from Phillip in the last 24 hours. Which could mean anything or nothing new. I will keep you posted as to his well-being. Thank you for your continued prayers.

HI Laura, I'm just watching the 4.00pm news and it's just so heartwrenching watching all of the people who are trying to escape. I know that Australia has had a couple of planes over the past few days bringing our Aussies home. I pray that Phillip can get on a plane soon. Love Chris

Sadly there are so many people of so many nationalities trying to escape to either their homeland or somewhere, anywhere that they will feel safer. Tragically a small child that had escaped with their family has died falling from a ninth floor room in a hotel in the UK where they were in emergency accommodation. I think that many in the world are hoping for a positive outcome with Afghanistan. I can only hope that Phillip successfully returns home

I have been praying for all who have been trapped and especially for the women since this started. My heart is breaking for for all involved and for the world because this is affecting the entire world. I have to keep reminding myself that this evil is all on satan, but that God is still in control. And we need to remember to include prayers for safety for those who are trapped and or those who are also risking their lives to rescue the tens of thousands who need to be evacuated.

I hope Phillip can get to the airport and get home soon, I will keep praying for all these poor people who are trying to get to safety. I don't know what is happening in this world, there is turmoil everywhere.
