This is what Jim has been up to this week. We have countertops and appliances as of today....we need to extend the wall behind the frig like 3 inches, but other than that looking good, we think.....

You are so right!! I can already see the kitties lounging on the island....Jim built 10 inch window sills on all the windows except the kitchen one for the cats to jump up on and look out the window...

Looks real good love white cabinets, makes everything look cleaner and brighter, Had my wooden cabinets painted white , not quite as good goods the ones you buy that are white, but less costly than redoing the whole kitchen.

Once we get them down there, Suzanne....that is gonna be the anxiety moment for me...rounding these little critters up for a long haul.....Andi is going to accompany us with her hubs and family following behind and we will put them up in a nice hotel for a couple of days.....

Sure will, Karen....we are shooting for next spring or summer and the only part am really dreading is rounding up kitties for a 10-11 hour trip....also will miss our Andi something fierce!

Yes, the view from kitchen window is our land that slopes into a dry creek bed and that is where the deer & bears and other wildlife roam.....I can't get down there soon enough!!
