We are used to things being just a bit slower here in South Africa 🇿🇦 but we had to smile yesterday. My husband received a letter from Germany - posted in March 2020. Better late than never.

Oh my goodness! I hope it was filled with good news and not an invitation to something.

Caroline, my husband’s sister lives in Munich. She has no WiFi - so no computer. Also no smart phone. My DH writes to her by hand. I scan the letters and send them through to my stepson in Brussels. He then prints them out and sends them to his aunt. This has been going on since Covid started.
what a great arrangement

Had something similar, but, not quite that long. I am in Fl. I ordered some stabilizer(US) that didn't come for about a month. I called and they reshipped. About 4 days later, both packages came on same day.

I would be absolutely delighted if a package took a month.
I hope they sent the second one for free.

Did the postman walk it all of the way there?

Unfortunately we don’t have postmen. Just a box at the post office.

Funny if it wasn't so sad at the same time. I hope nothing important was missed.

Angie, it was a rather outdated bank statement. I haven’t posted any thing for years. Packages just get stolen.

I've had a Christmas card posted in Howick in November and arrived in March, very slow mail. This happened before we even went on lockdown.
As you say better late than never. Hugs from Maureen
