My granddaughter asked me to sew a snuffle mat. Hers also had different pockets. I tried it out on Coco and she was not too interested in the pockets, but loved looking for treats among the fabric strips So I made her her own. Keeps her busy for a while

as Coco is busy you can be busy doing other things .... she loves the mat, but probably the treats even more. the mat looks great !!

I’ve never heard of these mats. I like the bright colors and rag look. Maybe if she has this to entertain herself, you can sew more.😉

I did not know anything about them till granddaughter showed me a picture of one being sold at Amazon. Good old YouTube showed me how to sew one.

She loves looking for treats and Vet said it is a good toy.

My dog loves his snuffy mat...however he's learned how to efficiently search for treats. If it takes him two minutes to find all the treats, I'd be surprised. it's a good tool for "nose work!"

I first did the top by sewing all the layers of strips. After that I sewed it like a single pillow case and inserted and old cutting mat. This way I can wash the mat and yet have it flat on the ground
