A t-shirt sitting on a little table ready for embroidery before my knee surgery--well, after knee surgery I finally felt like sitting my leg down long enough to do this design on it. Forgot I had my 6 x 10 hoop and shirt on it and thought I was using my 5 x 7 [how the brain works after surgery] I would have liked to enlarge it but I even deleted my basting stitch because it went over the 5 x 7 parameters. Uh, pretty dumb. I wanted tone on tone but seeing it I wished I'd used a darker color of coral to show up more--it is such a pretty and fast design. Got the project done and well pleased. Used a few hot iron rhinestones--flowers centers were calling for them and then just added a few little droplets down the middle.

Thank you Laura--I think this is your name--It kind of reminded me to Trapunto after I stitched it out. I did forget to preshrink my stabilizer so hoping for no pucker or none I can't iron out after washing.

Thank you--it was a design calling for a t-shirt, just wished I'd paid attention to my size hoop and enlarged it but, it is done and I'm glad. I have probably 15 new t-shirts all washed and ready for something as well as a few other garments.

I like the lighter type stitches and this was real lace like and went very fast. I am just thankful I got it even!!!

Brain fog after surgery is a very real thing, so don't beat yourself up! After my last surgery, I had to go unfold a towel to figure out how they should be folded, so that I could fold my laundry.
But you overcame, and did a wonderful job! I like your subtle look; it has a touch of elegance. The hot fix crystals are the perfect touch!

Glad I am not the only one that was having 'brain fog'. Not happy you had to have surgery to experience it but yes, it is very real, of course, that is what happens when you go so long between doing it also. I sure have to have that mood.
