Please, Cute group...help us with some prayers. Two days ago we were told that our 1-1/2 year old great grandson was diagnosed with Covid-19. He is in Texas where our grandson is in the Air Force. Then on Friday we got word that his little 5 month old brother got sick, and his monitor showed his oxygen level had dropped. He worsened thru the day, and was hospitalized yesterday evening. His test had shown negative previously, but all indication was showing he has Covid. His test at hospital came back this morning and he is positive. He has been put on oxygen, IV's, and also in some sort of pressure tent to help with his breathing. They were exposed to this virus at their daycare, and looks like the babysitter's son who is an elementary student brought it in to the daycare. This virus is bad enough in adults, but for these little ones to have to suffer with it breaks our heart. We are so far from them, that we feel useless as we can not help in any way.

I am so very sorry to hear about these 2 beautiful children going through this. I went through this same thing and pretty much got the same treatment this little boy is now going through. This treatment saved my life. I can assure you the doctors don't want to lose him and are doing everything they can to save him. You are doing far more than you realize with your prayers and asking for more prayers. You know we will add our prayers to you for him, his parents, you and all of the doctors, nurses and techs caring for him. Please keep us informed and don't hesitate to PM any of us when you need to vent.

Thank you all...I am waiting for news of the baby one today. He was put in a negative pressure room, and they have added some sort of medicine...guess similar to Tamiflu.
The older boy seems to be stronger and is doing well under daddy's care. The mommy is staying at hospital with baby. She is a critical care ICU nurse, but had to be on 14 day quarantine. Grandson is also on quarantine from his duties. This has been a trying time for all of us. My daughter is critical care Respiratory Therapist, and she has dealt only with adults in this as she is with the VA. She is having an especially hard time. Please, asking for continued prayers...for all that are sick with this virus. For those of you that have not had vaccine...please reconsider if possible. If not for you, for saving those that are unable to be vaccinated. Blessing to all of you.

I do not understand the thinking process of those who choose not to receive a life saving vaccine over the health and life of another living being.
Unfortunately, many are receiving propaganda against vaccines, pray for them too.
There are lots of individuals who simply cannot have the vaccine. A friend of ours was very very sick from the modern vaccine. It is not safe for everyone.
I am praying, too for your little ones and also for the people who can't have the vaccines. Our Lord cares for all of them.
True, there are many who cannot receive the vaccine--my brother is one; however, I have family members who just choose to be unvaccinated without regard to themselves or others.

Oh Toogie...sure hope it is not, but at least they do have medication for that. I had it in 2012, and sure want to get the shingles shot. Have not done that yet, but talking to doctor about it this week when I have my scheduled check up. Sure hope you can get some relief.

We heard yesterday that the baby is being weaned from the oxygen, and has started to eat. If he continues to improve they hope to have him home by the weekend. The older boy is doing a lot better, but did not have the symptoms that the baby had.

Our little great-grandson got to go home. I am so thankful for the continued payers and support that you all gave us....Her went 24 hours without having to have oxygen, so they said he could go home and finish recouping there. He is still congestive and his sats drop from time to time, but he has a momma that knows what to do. I know that she feels better with him at home now, and she can see her other little guy. Daddy has been taking care of him, and of course they were not allowed at hospital.
